La Condesa

July 17, 2009

This may have been our best AFDA yet! This urban oasis gave us all a surprise as we made our way to the restaurant's vault. We were guided down a candle-lit staircase into a cool, dark cellar. The enchanting atmsophere even housed a foosball table, and the restaurant's tequilla reserve. Tweleve of us made our way to the dining area, where we were greeted by a perfectly set long wooden table. The staff were incredible, our waiter Jimmy took extra time to explain each dish (consisiting of 5 courses) while we were serenaded with a mix of Radiohead, Bloc Party and more. Our dinner was well thought out, perfectly cooked, and incredibly delicious. I have only praise for the group dining menus offered in the vault. Be sure to book your next celebration at this diamond in the ruff. It was pure perfection.

With love in the air, members ventured to the newly opened Corazon. Formally, Castle Hill, diners fell head over heels for the interior Mexican cuisine. The service and tastes were divine. It was a great way to celebrate those we love in our lives, and enjoy a new spot in our great city.
